General information
Under the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures, students at the University of Illinois have the opportunity to study Russian along with Bosnian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Polish, Serbian, Ukrainian, and Yiddish. UIUC participates in study abroad programmes in Prague, Czech Republic, Krakow and Warsaw, Poland, and in Russia, including the ACTR programmes in Moscow and St. Petersburg. UIC at Urbana-Champaign allows students to study abroad through the ACTR programmes in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladimir or the CIEE programme in St. Petersburg, or a study abroad programme sponsored by REEEC programme, an interdisciplinary center on Russian and Eastern Europe.
